about Jonee' williams

Social media, video games and the internet are raising many of our children. I know some will argue that this technology is not all bad and their right it is not, however it lacks the instructions and the guidance of social interaction. Our children are missing essential basic life skills to survive in this world.

Hello, I am Jonee’(Nay) Williams, founder and C.E.O. of Kount Teens 2 Mentoring Organization. We are a non-profit organization headquartered in Monroe, Louisiana. The purpose of this organization is to instruct, guide, and equip students with the essential skills that are needed to survive in our world today. There is a desperate need for a mentoring organization that offers year-round assistance to disadvantaged youth 12- 18 years of age and we are here to meet that need.  It is our vision to ensure these youth build trusting relationships with accountability and responsibility during the duration of their time with the organization.

After receiving my Bachelor of Science degree from Grambling State University, I have had the opportunity to work in several different fields. Such as a professional operator for public and school transportation, Assistant Therapeutic Recreation Specialists at a youth detention center, foster parent, and full-time substitute teacher in the public school system. Due to the diversity of each of these occupations, I was able to develop leadership skills, confidence, and people skills along with the guidance from my grandparents, aunts, and church mentoring programs. I am equipped and ready to give back  to those youths of today.

My passion and purpose are the growth and development of the young people that are in my community and around the world.
